A pied-à-terre in Edinburgh’s West End, designed by Malcolm Duffin Design in collaboration with local developer Linton Hay.

Embracing a pared-back and refined approach, we worked with our client to produce an elegant, gentle and comfortable city-centre retreat — one that sets the apartment’s traditional Edinburgh architectural features against bold prints and contemporary pieces. Texture comes from luxurious wood-veneer wall coverings, a sympathetic colour palette and bespoke soft furnishings, drawn from a curated selection of the world’s leading fabric houses, including Colefax & Fowler, Pierre Frey and Nobilis.

Working with our own team of decorators, furniture makers and soft-furnishing manufacturers, Malcolm Duffin Design provided a fully customised and bespoke service.
